RTD has finally grown up. 5 years too late.

“If you can’t wait to see what happens next to the Doctor, then good news! You can enjoy a clip of the Christmas Special on BBC One during Children in Need night on Friday, November 20th. We’ll give you an approximate time for the clip nearer the evening but yes, we’ve seen it, and yes, it’s fantastic, giving away some exciting details about the adventure but nothing that should spoil the episode when you see the whole thing.
